The Kosmos round shade, part of the Kosmos collection and designed by Dirk Wynants for Extremis, is a striking cantilever umbrella that unfolds horizontally like the wings of a bird. This patented design, inspired by biophilic principles, offers a clean, minimalist aesthetic with no visible technical components. The umbrella opens and closes effortlessly, with hidden magnets holding it open and leather straps securing it when closed. Available in two heights, the Kosmos round shade pairs beautifully with the Kosmos 8-seater and provides excellent wind resistance. Made from high-quality materials like stainless steel and high-tech polyester fabric, it can also be fitted with an optional dimmable LED light to create a cozy atmosphere.
