The Kosmos square shade, part of the Kosmos collection and designed by Dirk Wynants for Extremis, is a minimalist cantilever umbrella inspired by nature. Featuring an ingenious horizontal opening system, it mimics the wings of a bird, with hidden magnets keeping the parasol open. The suspended canopy creates a calm and clean atmosphere of shade, perfect for a modern garden set. The umbrella’s biophilic design pairs beautifully with outdoor furniture like the Walrus sofa, and its slightly tilted canopy ensures water flows off easily. An optional LED light can add a cozy touch, making it a versatile and aesthetically pleasing addition to any outdoor space.
